“Waldmärchen” from Das Klagende Lied

Title means, “Forest Fairy Tale,” from The Song of Lamentation.” This movement was left out of Mahler's final version, apparently mostly for narrative plot-related reasons, but is surely one of his most magnificent early creations. Involves switches between SATB recorders.
