Complete Suite No. 3, BWV 1009, transposed to F major

from: J.S. Bach - Chamber Music - Suites for Cello Solo

The Prélude, Allemande & Courante, Sarabande, Bourrée I & II, and Gigue, originally in C major, transposed here to F, with newly composed bass lines. There are some optional high A's and low E's for alto. Slurs are added, but due to the lack of clarity in the earliest and most important source, they should not be taken overly seriously. An alternative 2nd page is offered for the recorder part of the Prélude. Note that we also offer a version in the original key of C. This arrangement was altered 9.7.13 to enable alto recorder throughout.
