Aria, “Jesus nimmt die Sünder an,” from Cantata 113

Originally for tenor voice, flute and continuo in D major, transposed here to F. Text means, “Jesus is accepting of sinners.” Recorder players be warned, this is not an easy piece to play up to tempo, though avoidance of the three high A's by choosing the ossias will mitigate the difficulty a little. NB: for ease of page turns it is recommended that pages 2 & 3, etc., face each other, not 1 & 2.
