“Revelge”, from *Des Knaben Wunderhorn*

“Revelge”, from Des Knaben Wunderhorn

from: G. Mahler (1860-1911)

Originally in two different versions, one for voice with piano, and one for voice with orchestra, in d minor as here. A total of 15 bars were taken out for the purposes of this non-vocal arrangement. Title means “Reveille”, sometimes referred to in English as “The Dead Drummer”. Note that we have a version of this number included in our large grouping “Duets from Dufay to de Falla”, from the Duet section.

Keyboard parts include separate recorder parts at no additional cost.
