“O Ruddier than the Cherry” from Acis and Galatea

Originally an aria for the character Polyphemus for bass voice, recorder, strings, and continuo. May be played by sopranino & bass recorders. Or, since the voice part is there with the words, a bass voice can sing, and the alto recorder can play the top. When the voice is tacet, the singer ought to sing the bass line wordlessly.
