Verklärte Nacht, Op. 4

Originally for string sextet. Calls for switches between alto, sopranino, soprano, tenor and bass recorders. Title means “Transfigured Night.” Piece divides naturally into two parts, the first mainly in d minor, the second in D major. Revised Oct. 8, 2022.
